LipoZero 5D
Target stubborn fat without surgery.
A non-invasive body-contouring treatment for localised fat. Consultation-led, measured, and grounded in realistic expectations.
Do you have an area of stubborn fat that seems difficult to change despite regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle?
Exercise is essential for your health and body composition, but it cannot selectively tell your body where to reduce fat. This is where body contouring can help.
LipoZero 5D is a professional, non-invasive body-contouring treatment designed to target selected areas of the body without surgery. The system combines five technologies — multipolar radiofrequency (RF), cavitation, vacuum suction, low-level laser and LED — within one treatment platform.
What does the science say?
Non-invasive body contouring is an established area of aesthetic research, and several of the technologies incorporated into modern body-contouring systems have been investigated in published clinical studies.
Research into low-level laser therapy (LLLT) has reported measurable reductions in body circumference. In a randomized controlled study, Jackson et al. found significantly greater reductions in combined waist, hip and thigh circumference following low-level laser treatment compared with placebo. [1]
A separate randomized controlled study by Caruso-Davis et al. examined 40 healthy adults receiving low-level laser treatment to the waist. Among participants whose weight remained relatively stable, repeated treatments produced a statistically significant cumulative reduction in waist circumference. [2]
Clinical research involving combinations of radiofrequency, vacuum and mechanical treatment has reported improvements in cellulite appearance and reductions in circumference in treated areas. [3,4]
Broader scientific reviews have found evidence supporting measurable body-contouring effects, while also noting that outcomes and the strength of evidence vary between technologies, devices and treatment protocols. [5]
These studies provide scientific support for individual technologies used within non-invasive body contouring. They should not be interpreted as clinical trials of the complete LipoZero 5D system itself, and individual results vary.
What happens during treatment
Your first step is a consultation. We discuss where you have stubborn fat deposits or cellulite that you would like to address, what you would like to change and what a realistic outcome might look like.
We also take relevant baseline measurements of the treatment area. These give us a starting point against which we can review your progress.
A single session can take as little as approximately 30 minutes, depending on the size and number of areas being treated. The treatment is non-invasive and does not involve surgical incisions.
Body contouring works best as a programme rather than a single appointment. We generally recommend approximately 5–6 treatments, typically separated by approximately 3–5 days.
We use your initial measurements as a reference point and can repeat relevant measurements during your programme. This allows us to discuss progress based on what is actually changing rather than relying on promises or assumptions.
The IDUNN approach
At IDUNN, less is more. We believe treatment should have a purpose.
Your consultation begins with understanding what you want to change, your starting point and whether LipoZero 5D is an appropriate way to help you work towards that goal.
For some people, exercise, movement or lifestyle changes may be the most appropriate approach. For others, a non-invasive body-contouring treatment may provide an additional option for addressing a specific area.
It is a body-contouring treatment rather than a weight-loss programme.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. It is a body-contouring treatment that targets localised areas. Healthy eating and exercise remain fundamental to overall body composition.
Generally around 5–6 treatments, typically 3–5 days apart, though your individual programme depends on the treatment area, your starting point and how you respond.
No. The treatment is non-invasive and does not involve surgical incisions.
A single session can take as little as approximately 30 minutes, depending on the size and number of areas treated.
We take baseline measurements before starting and repeat them during your programme, so progress is discussed based on what is actually changing.
Not necessarily. Suitability is assessed at consultation. For some people, exercise or lifestyle changes may be the more appropriate approach.
