Physiotherapy
Understand the problem. Build the way forward.
Assessment-led physiotherapy and rehabilitation in Dubai Healthcare City. We start by understanding what is limiting you.
Pain, injury and reduced mobility can affect everything from your working day to the activities you enjoy.
Physiotherapy at IDUNN begins with an individual assessment. We take time to understand your symptoms, how you move, how the problem affects your everyday life and what you would like to get back to doing.
From there, your physiotherapist develops an appropriate treatment and rehabilitation plan around you.
What we help with
Back and neck pain, including discomfort associated with long hours at a desk
Sports injuries, from recreational activity through to competitive sport
Reduced mobility or stiffness, where movement has become limited
Post-injury rehabilitation — rebuilding strength and function
Post-surgical rehabilitation, where appropriate and in coordination with your surgeon
Shoulder, knee, hip and joint problems
Persistent or recurring musculoskeletal symptoms
What happens at your assessment
We start by listening. What are you experiencing? When did it start? How is it affecting your work, sleep, exercise and daily life?
Your physiotherapist assesses your movement, strength, mobility and relevant physical function — not only the area where you feel pain. Sometimes the source of a problem is not where the symptom appears.
We explain what we have found in language you can understand, including what we are confident about and what remains uncertain.
Your plan may include manual therapy, progressive exercise, mobility work, shockwave therapy or other appropriate rehabilitation techniques.
Sometimes the most appropriate recommendation is exercise, a change in activity, or simply reassurance and a sensible plan. If that is what will help you most, that is what we will say.
